What is the purpose of the Baz IR Hub?
The Baz IR Hub is the interface between Baz Smart Remote and existing IR appliances. What this means is that you can use all your existing appliances and new cTouch enabled appliances with the same Baz Smart Remote. The Baz IR Hub completely mitigates the need to replace your existing appliances with new cTouch enabled appliances, until you are ready.
What is involved in setting up Baz?
At Xped, we are striving to make the system as simple as possible to use. As such, rather than buying the equipment off the shelf, we are putting into place a process whereby you will request installation by ‘placing an order’. Part of this process will be for you to advise us when it would be convenient for a trained Installer to come around and set up the system in your home. Thus, you can be assured that when the Installer leaves, Baz will be working and all your other remotes can be placed in the back of the cupboard!
How long will the battery last before it needs to be recharged?
As with all electronic devices, this is to an extent, dependent upon usage. However, the beauty of the Xped system, is that the wireless Baz Pad can be used as a charging dock for the Baz Smart Remote, hence it is easy to keep the unit fully charged.
Who can I communicate with using the VVoIP facility?
In theory, you can communicate with any Baz Smart Remote user, anywhere in the world. In practise, a system of ‘friends’ will be put into place such that you can only receive calls from people you know and trust.
